British Columbia has long been known as a golfer’s playground. With over 300 impressive courses to choose from, we can understand why. From the wild west coast to the interior, B.C. undeniably has everything to offer the avid golfer in terms of variety and stunning landscapes.
 
With summer vacations right around the corner, we put together a list of some of our favourite golf courses.

  • St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, Cranbrook, B.C.
    This resort, located five minutes outside of Cranbrook in the East Kootenays, boasts championship courses and beautiful scenery. The resort offers exceptional golf packages, lessons, a pro shop and various events, including golfing with your dog.
  • Tobiano Golf Course, Kamloops, B.C.
    Dubbed a must play destination, Tobiano Golf Course is approximately 20 minutes west of the city. Tobiano is 7,328 yards with mountain and lake views at every hole, and is ranked the best new Canadian course, best public golf course in B.C. and one of the top 10 courses in Canada.
  • Castlegar Golf Club, Castlegar, B.C.
    This four-star club is located in the Kootenays and offers a championship 18-hole, semi-private golf course. You will also find a Clubhouse, Restaurant and Golf Shop. Practice greens, club rentals, private lessons, power carts and driving range make this a full-service club.
  • Salmon Arm Golf Club, Salmon Arm, B.C.
    The Salmon Arm Golf Club was established in 1928 and has come to be known as a B.C. Classic. The club offers two courses, a golf shop and restaurant all in a rare setting delivering an extraordinary experience.
  • Talking Rock Golf Course, Chase, B.C.
    Experience the pride of the Little Shuswap Indian Band. Opened in 2007, this naturally breathtaking 18-hole golf course lines the banks of Little Shuswap Lake. With special golf packages, a golf school and academy, season pass programs, a players club, tournaments and events, this course is suitable for any level of golfer.
