At Eagle Homes, we believe in supporting our community and we are honoured to be in a position to do so. Here are a few of the ways we give back.

Ronald McDonald House

Each quarter, Eagle Homes summarizes the number of homes that have been shipped and contributes a portion to RMHC BC. All funds donated stay within the province of BC and go towards BC-based RMHC services and programming. We are proud to contribute towards RMHC’s Mission "To create, find and support program that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families."

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity

Over the last year, Eagle Homes has donated large quantities of building supplies including everything from plywood, shingles, door and window trim, base board, as well as rolls of carpet and lino. We are also happy to support this wonderful cause through financial donations. At Eagle Homes, we are thrilled to be working together with Habitat for Humanity to bring communities together to help build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

Angel Flight East Kootenays

Founded in 2019 by Brent Bidston (pictured in the middle of the photo), a retired airline captin, Angel Flight of the East Kootenays is a charity run entirely with the help of volunteers. They provide air travel 3 times per week to the residents of the Kootenays and Columbia Valley for medical appointments in Kelowna, free of charge.

Each flight can take 5 passengers each way, and the donation made by Eagle Homes in 2024 will potentially help 100 people fly to and/or from Kelowna for various medical reasons.

Visit their website  to learn more about this organization, see testimonials from passengers, meet the pilots, and see how you can donate.

Cranbrook Turkey Drive

We helped support the Turkey drive with a donation. The Turkey Drive has operated as an annual fundraiser to assist the Salvation Army and the Cranbrook Food Bank’s Christmas Hamper programs. Many families, seniors, and residents of all kinds rely on the success of these programs and community services.

Kootenay Animal Assistance Program

From Laurel: "Hello, I'm Laurel Mathew, president of Kootenay Animal Assistance Program (KAAP) and we received an extremely generous donation from Eagle Homes. From all of us on the KAAP board, please accept our gratitude and appreciation - this donation is amazing and will help so many of our animals in care. We are currently undertaking a large kitten and cat rescue on a property where there are estimated to be over 40 cats. So far we have taken in 31 kittens, and have caught and spayed/neutered 5 adults. This is a very costly undertaking so donations such as this make it possible to push forward and help all these deserving beings. This photo is of myself with one of the newest little rescue kittens from the big property. Again, thank you very, very much, from all of us at KAAP."

Salmon Arm Hospital

In 2024, we were proud to donate to the Salmon Arm Hospital/Shuswap Hospital Foundation. These funds will be used for purchasing important medical equipment for testing that would otherwise not be available locally in Salmon Arm.

Vernon Veteran’s Society

in 2023, after 5 years of planning, preparation and strategizing, the Vernon Veteran's Society went public. The purpose of the society is to work with government, contractors and developers to "assist in the placement of veterans into the home ownership or rental market." Their logo was created as a visual representation of their purpose: "Rooftops symbolize "safe shelter." The poppy, maple leaf, and eagle feather represent Canadian and First Nation contribution and importance. The raised hands symbolize the many "helping hands" it will take to effectively bring change."
