The recent findings of countless unmarked graves of Indigenous children on residential school sites throughout Canada is evidence of the high level of strategic planning that went into the operation and concealment of the residential school system’s agenda, purposes, and goals of assimilation and annihilation of the Indigenous peoples of Canada.

We at Eagle Homes would like to make our position known in the urging of the Canadian government to provide the resources necessary to conduct a thorough investigation of the grounds of all former Residential Schools to identify further unmarked graves. We hope that this shocking situation can be a springboard to greater understanding and addressing past wrongs so we can work together to create a prosperous future for everyone. Eagle Homes will continue to stand with not only the survivors of the residential school system of Canada, but the Indigenous community as a whole.
